# How to Set or Update Resource Color on Picktime

Resource Color helps you visually identify resource bookings on your Picktime calendar. When you assign a color to a resource item, bookings for that resource can appear in the selected color, making it easier to recognize room, space, or equipment bookings at a glance.

### Step 1: Go to Booking Types

From your Picktime dashboard, click **Booking Types** from the left-side menu.

### Step 2: Select Resources

On the Booking Types page, click **Resources** to open your resource list.

### Step 3: Open the Resource

Select the resource for which you want to set or update the color.

### Step 4: Set or Update the Resource Color

On the **Resource Details** page, go to the **Resource Item Color** section.

Choose the color you want to assign to the resource. After selecting the color, click **Save** in the top-right corner.

Once saved, bookings for that resource can appear in the selected color on your Picktime calendar if your Booking Color preference is set to **Service / Class / Resource-Item Color**.
