# How to Set or Update Service Color on Picktime

Service Color helps you visually identify appointments on your Picktime calendar. When you assign a color to a service, bookings for that service appear in the selected color, making it easier to recognize appointment types at a glance.

### Step 1: Go to Booking Types

From your Picktime dashboard, click **Booking Types** from the left-side menu.

### Step 2: Select Services

On the Booking Types page, click **Services** to open your service list.

### Step 3: Open the Service

Select the service for which you want to set or update the color.

### Step 4: Set or Update the Service Color

On the **Service Details** page, go to the **Service Color** section.

Choose the color you want to assign to the service. After selecting the color, click **Save** in the top-right corner.

Once saved, appointments for that service will appear in the selected color on your Picktime calendar if your Booking Color preference is set to **Service / Class / Resource-Item Color**.

|| **Note:** Service colors only apply to calendar bookings when the Booking Color preference is set to **Service / Class / Resource-Item Color**.
