How to Set Up Google Meet for Online Bookings on Picktime

Picktime lets you connect Google Meet so video meeting links can be generated for online appointments. Once Google Meet is activated, a new location named Google Meet will be created under Locations, and customers can choose it while booking online.

Before enabling Google Meet, make sure the assigned team members have enabled Google Calendar Two-Way Sync in Picktime. Google Meet works only for team members who have already synced their account with Google or GSuite Calendar.

Step 1: Enable Google Calendar Two-Way Sync for Team Members

Before setting up Google Meet, enable Google Calendar Two-Way Sync for the team members who will be assigned to Microsoft Teams bookings.

Here's how to enable Google Calendar Two-Way Sync for Team Members

Step 2: Go to Setup and Open Integrations

From your Picktime dashboard, click Setup from the left-side menu.

On the Setup page, click Integrations. This will open the apps and integrations available for your Picktime account.

Step 3: Select Google Meet

Scroll to the Video Meetings section.

Click Google Meet from the list of video meeting integrations.

Step 4: Activate Google Meet

On the Google Meet integration page, click Activate on the right side of the screen.

Once Google Meet is activated, Picktime will create a new location named Google Meet under Locations.

Step 5: Use Google Meet for Online Bookings

After activation, customers can select Google Meet as the location while booking online.

When a Google Meet booking is scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled, Picktime can generate and manage the Google Meet video link for the booking.

Note: Google Meet works only for team members who have enabled Google Calendar Two-Way Sync with their Google or GSuite Calendar account.
