How to Require Customers to Book Appointments in Advance in Picktime

Picktime allows you to set how far in advance customers should book an appointment. By enabling the Users Should Book Ahead setting, you can control the minimum notice period required before a customer can make a booking.

Step 1: Go to Online Booking

Log in to your Picktime account. From the left-side menu, click Online Booking.

Step 2: Open Settings

On the Online Booking page, click the Settings tab.

Step 3: Enable Users Should Book Ahead and save the changes

Scroll down to the Booking Restrictions section.

Find the Users Should Book Ahead option and turn on the toggle button.

Select the required advance booking time using the Days, Hours, and Minutes dropdown fields.

For example, if you set it to 1 Day, 1 Hour, and 1 Minute Ahead, customers will need to book at least that much time before the appointment.

After setting the required time, click Save in the top-right corner.

Once saved, the minimum advance booking notice period will be applied to your Picktime online booking page.

Note: This setting helps you prevent last-minute bookings and gives your team enough time to prepare for upcoming appointments.
